Year-on-year growth rate exceeded 40%: On August 10, the China Charging Alliance released the operation status of the national electric vehicle charging and swapping infrastructure in July 2023. It is reported that in July 2023, the number of public charging piles increased by 62,000 units month-on-month, a year-on-year increase of 40.4%. In July 2023, the total charging electricity in the country was about 3.25 billion kWh, an increase of 290 million kWh from the previous month, a year-on-year increase of 48.4% and a month-on-month increase of 9.9%. This growth rate is particularly eye-catching in the entire industry, and people are full of expectations for the future of charging piles!

Policy dividends come one after another: In 2015, the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure" was issued. In 2020, the government work report included charging piles in the seven key areas of "new infrastructure". Recently, Beijing has proposed to strive to reach a total scale of 700,000 charging piles by 2025, Shanghai plans to have a citywide car ratio of no more than 2:1 by 2025, and Chongqing plans to build 230,000 charging piles by 2025... The central and local policies on charging have been pouring in like a tidal wave, and the continued high attention has made charging piles destined to have a stable, high-speed and efficient development in the future!

The gap is huge, reaching more than 20 million units: According to the forecast of relevant national agencies, it is expected that by the end of 2025, the number of new energy vehicles will exceed 60 million. If calculated according to the planned car ratio of 2:1, a total of 30 million charging piles will be needed nationwide by the end of 2025, compared with 5.21 million by the end of 2022, there is still a gap of more than 20 million units. This will inevitably promote the rapid development of the charging pile industry, fill the gap, and bring about an industry storm.
