Three departments: Carry out pilot projects to make up for shortcomings in county-level charging and swapping facilities and complete "hundreds of counties, thousands of stations and tens of thousands of piles"

On April 12, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Transport jointly issued the "Notice on Carrying out Pilot Work to Make Up for Shortcomings in County-level Charging and Swapping Facilities". The central government will arrange reward funds to support pilot counties in carrying out pilot work. During the demonstration period, pilot counties that achieve the highest target every year can receive up to 45 million yuan.

Qingdao: By 2026, the city's charging infrastructure will exceed 150,000 units

On April 2, the General Office of the Qingdao Municipal Government issued the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Construction of Charging Infrastructure in Qingdao". The "Plan" clearly defines the development goals: By the end of 2026, a high-quality charging infrastructure system with wide coverage, reasonable layout, intelligent and efficient, safe and shared will be basically built, and a charging network with urban surface, highway linear, and rural point layout will be built. The city's charging infrastructure will reach more than 150,000 units, of which 15,000 units will be in rural areas, and public charging stations will be effectively covered in towns and streets.

Chongqing: More than 2,000 supercharging stations and more than 4,000 supercharging piles will be built by 2025
